Bookcase on table, with applied and inlaid ebony decoration, the bookcase with two panelled doors, above a table with curved, recessed center and three drawers, raised on turned, baluster legs.

In an inventory of the Queen's House, Colombo of 1839 (National Archives, UK, CO 54/173) in the South Side Drawing Room are listed among other items, '2 Ebony Bookcases on tables with drawers' which may be of related form to gbl.70.
